CPAt Test
The CPAt test
also know as the Career Programs
Assessment test is a test required
by our financial aid office for
students who have not received a
high school diploma or GED and are
applying for Federal Financial Aid.

Answers to some of your questions:
Q. Are there any sample tests available for the
CPAt?
A. Yes. Students that are required by the financial aid office to
take the CPAt will be given a preparation guide when an appointment is
scheduled in our office.
Q. What is on the CPAt?
A. The CPAt consists of three basic-level, multiple-choice tests in the
areas of Language Usage, Reading Skills, and Numerical Skills.
Q. How much time does it take
for the CPAt?
A. The CPAt takes a little over an hour to take.
Q. I am not a native English Speaker or attended a
foreign high school, can I take the CPAt?
A. If English is not your native and primary language, you should
take the English assessment test before taking the CPAt. We will
use your English assessment test results to help determine if your
should take the CPAt or the CELSA.
