When do
Orientation Meetings occur?
Orientation meetings generally become
available three months before the beginning of each
new semester. You should make an
appointment for an orientation meeting as soon as
possible, after you have completed your assessment
test.
How can I make an appointment to attend an Orientation
Meeting?
You can make an appointment for the
orientation meeting during the assessment test
or by visiting our office in the Administration
building room A117.
Who needs to attend an Orientation Meeting?
All freshmen students need to attend an orientation
meeting.
Can I still enroll in school if I
am unable to attend an Orientation Meeting
before the new semester begins?
Yes, if you are unable to attend an orientation
meeting at the beginning of a new semester due to
lack of appointment availability or other unforeseen
reasons, you should see a counselor (after having
taken an assessment test), register for classes and
make an appointment to attend an orientation meeting
after at a later date.
What Will
Happen
At The Orientation?
1.) You
will receive an interpretation of your Assessment Test.
2.) A counselor will help you
develop a schedule for the upcoming semester.
3.) You will receive helpful
hints on how to register for classes.
4.) A counselor will be
available to answer your general questions.
5.) The orientation meeting will
take approximately 2 hours.
