Frequently Asked Questions about Transcripts

Q.   May I request transcripts by phone?
A.  No.  We must have the student's signature.

Q.  Can you fax my transcripts?
A.  No.  The embossed seal will not appear on faxed transcripts.

Q.  May I pick up my transcripts?
A.  Official transcripts are only mailed.  However, you may pick up an unofficial copy the same day by showing us a photo ID (driver's license is acceptable).

Q.  When will my current semester grades be posted on the transcript?
A.  Allow 4-6 weeks after the end of the semester.

Q.  Can you tell me my grades over the telephone?
A.  No.  We need to verify your identity with a photo ID.  However, you may access your grades at www.rioweb.riohondo.edu or by touchtone at (562) 692-1284.
