New Students
If you have never registered for credit classes at Rio Hondo
College you are a “New” student.
- You must submit an application to the Admissions &
Records Office before registering. Pick up an application in the Admissions
& Records Office or apply
online.
- To receive priority, you must submit your application prior
to the deadline. Please use a number 2 pencil to fill
out the application.
- Stop by or call the Assessment Center (A117) to make an appointment for
the Math, English and Reading Assessement. Take the assessment test or pick up an exemption form at the
Counseling Office.
- Sign up for an orientation session. Your assessment
results will be returned to you and you will participate in a group counseling session.
- Register using Online Registration
according to priority registration
dates
& times.
- If you missed the application
deadline, you can still submit a late application and register during
open registration.
