The Music Department at Rio Hondo College offers instrumental and vocal courses designed to allow individual and group performances from the beginning to advanced level.  Music Ensemble for Diverse Instruments (the Workman Mill Industrial Orchestra) allows beginning to advanced acoustic and electric instrumentalists to perform together in one ensemble and/or in smaller mixed ensembles within a variety of musical styles.  The Vocal Arts Ensemble allows singers to perform in an ensemble context utilizing literature from a variety of periods and styles.  Finally, the Guitar Ensemble performs acoustic and electric guitar literature, from beginning to advanced, in a large and small ensemble context.
