

Larry Scher is a Professor of Television, with a Masters Degree in American History from CSUN and a BA Degree from UCLA majoring in American History with a minor in Psychology. He also completed postgraduate courses in Television Production at CSULA, Cal Poly Pomona and UCLA. He is currently teaching:
TV 137 Introduction to TV Production; TV 138 Video Editing Lecture; TV 237 Advanced TV Production; TV 238 Video Editing Lab; TV 239 Video Engineering. He has been a member of SMPTE for over 25 years and was a founding member of the Visual Music Alliance. He has worked in the industry for Orion, MGM, Sony and Ring of Fire in various production and post-production roles. In addition, he produces and directs broadcast and industrial video through his company, Timestream Video.
