CAREERS IN CHILD CARE PROGRAM.
This
program was established to provide CalWORKs participants who desire a career
in the field of child development an appropriate learning environment to
observe and practice working with children first hand.
The program uses
a combination of classroom academic training and hands-on field
experience to develop the necessary skills and abilities needed to either work within or manage children based programs from birth
to early adolescence.
The range of
provided study will includes Infants/Toddlers, Preschoolers, Before and
After School Programs or Family Day Care.
