Welcome to the Rio Hondo College Reading Department. We are a division of Communications and can be found on the 5th floor of the Library. The Reading Department offers a variety of classes in reading improvement, critical reading, vocabulary building, spelling enhancement, and study methods.  It provides a range of class levels based on academic need, and the classes are designed to help students succeed academically and professionally.   Daytime, evening, and online classes are available.  The Reading Department also includes a Reading Lab on the 5th floor of the Library (L504).
