2005-06 RIO HONDO FORENSIC EVENT SCHEDULE
Rio Hondo Forensic Speech Team events will include a Spring & Fall
intramural speech tournament. K-12 school visitations where demonstrations
will be done--dates and times of these events will be determined at a later
date. We will have international debate exchanges with the British Debate
Team and Japanese Debate Team similar to what we've had over the last 3
years, on campus Public Townhall speech events through the speech club.
Bolded tournaments are primary tournaments/events. Other tournaments/events
are based on student interest, funding, and Director discretion. Stared
tournaments * indicate that entries are limited. RHC participants must
qualify through (1) demonstrated prior event preparedness, (2) demonstrated
ability to adhere to team and director rules, (3) meeting minimum prepared
event requirements (Fall 3 events, Spring 4 events). Forensics meetings take
place in A222 at Rio Hondo unless otherwise indicated.
