CONTRAST
THINKING STEPS
1.
Choose two similar things that you have a good reason to compare.
2.
Write
a sentence that expresses what the comparison means to you. For example:
A.
“The
Honda 750 is superior to the BSA Golden Star in several ways.”
B.
“Snow
skiing is more challenging than water skiing.”

Choose the points of comparison that you will describe and explain, using a
paragraph for each point. For
example:
A. The
suspension, the ride, the engine, power and
economy, the pickup
and top speed performance, the
coat and durability
of the comparable motorcycles.

Physical
challenges and mental challenges in two kinds
of skiing.

and why. Include your main idea.

Make your points of comparison,
developing each with a paragraph using lots of
