Tech Center Computer Lab
Policies
and Procedures
Any
registered DSP&S student may use the HTC Computer Lab
as long as they have completed certain requirements. The
student must:

register
for NCBAS 009 (ticket #5050)
-
have
prior computer experience and adequate knowledge of computer
usage
-
if
no prior experience or knowledge, the student must take EdDev
25
-
read and sign the HTC student contract of Policies and Procedures
Some
of the policies and procedures include:
-
No
downloading of ANY chat room, instant messenger, software program, game, etc. onto the
HTC computers EVER
-
No
eating or drinking
-
No
Email, chat rooms or instant messaging
-
Surfing the Internet is limited to 30 minutes
when the lab is busy
-
No
printing of ANY item that is not directly related to class
work
-
No
outside disks (to prevent the spread of viruses)
