Danny Romero began his college career at Rio Hondo College, and like many students worked while attending classes.
“I loved my time at Rio Hondo and I am honored to be a part of the Rio Hondo College Community.”
During college, Danny developed a strong interest in Broadcasting and Earth Science, which developed in a very successful broadcasting career. He is currently a part of the ABC7 “Eyewitness News” team handling the Weekend Weather. He is also the new Co-host of Vista L.A. and Cool Kids

Angela Medina

Growing up in La Puente Angela Medina recalls that “college" was not  mentioned very often. She was the first person in her family to attend college. She began her college career at Rio Hondo right out of high school. Seeing Angela’s success, her younger sister and brother decided to pursue their educational goals.
“With the help of inspiring faculty, Rio Hondo College was the place where I figured out what I was good at and what I wanted to do with my life.”
This inspiration was so overwhelming that Angela came back to Rio and give back to the school that gave her so much.
