All full-time students are eligible for a discounted transit pass
that is honored by all of the above transit operators.
Full-time students are students who register for and
maintain 12 units or
more during the entire Fall 09 semester.
Students who drop below 12 units at any point during the
semester, fail to inform Admissions and Records or
Government & Community Relations, and fail to return the GO
RIO pass sticker will be ineligible for the GO RIO program.
Part time students are
encouraged to add units to become eligible for the GO RIO
program.
Beginning in mid-August, full-time students can visit the
Photo ID window at the Admissions and Records Office to
request the Fall 2009 GO RIO pass sticker.
The sticker is valid throughout the Fall 09 semester,
which begins August 22 and ends December 12 and will be honored
by all the above transit partners.
GO RIO does not include
student access on Foothill transit's Silver Streak bus.
Go RIO does include access to all Metro rail trains but does
not include access to Metro Link.
