We take pride in offering our students a state of the art facility to achieve and maintain their cardiovascular health. Students will enroll in our KINA 130, CRN 35072 course and go through the orientation and assessment process. When the course is passed successfully students will enroll in KINA 230 for their second unit of credit. After their success in both classes we allow all to maintain their health in a non-credit course which allows them to access the facility. We average over 1500 students each semester in these courses….sign up quickly and get fit!!!

Before taking KINA 130, CRN# 35072 you will need to call 562-908-3461 to schedule and orientation.
Please look at the dates and times below and call the above number to schedule your orientation which will take 1 hour. You must be on time all orientations will take place in Rm 105 in the PE Complex. If you are late you will not be allowed to attend. You may dress in regular clothes. During the orientation you will learn everything you need to be successful.
You may email the fitness center to schedule an appointment at, firstname.lastname@example.org. you will need to request time and date.
If you are in ACCESS RIO you may email by going to your email and “to” in the “to” area type in Fitness Center.
Be aware, when calling or emailing, orientations may be full and you will need to select another one.

KINA 230 If you are a returning Fitness Center Student, you will need to go onto Blackboard and complete the work posted. The syllabus and requirements are on blackboard if you have questions please ask at the front desk.
