RIO HONDO COLLEGE OFFERS NEW CLASS DESIGNED TO HELP
FRUSTRATED
“BABY BOOMERS” PLAN FOR A GREAT RETIREMENT
Pasadena Financial Professional Will Teach Class
Spring Semester
WHITTIER, CA -- Rio
Hondo College’s Community Education Services
Department will offer a new course for Baby Boomers
who want to be able to make informed decisions while
planning for their retirement. Entitled “Maximizing
Your Cash Flow and Increasing Your Financial
Leverage,” the new course is aimed specifically at
showing homeowners in the Boomer generation how to
achieve financial retirement goals that will allow
them to live well in their golden years. Mr. Craig
Hover, a financial professional based in Pasadena,
will teach the course.
“My overwhelming experience is that most families
are really struggling today. Most of them want to do
the right thing for their future, but they don’t
know what to do or who to trust when seeking
advice,” says Mr. Hover.
“Maximizing Your Cash Flow and Increasing Your
Financial Leverage” will be offered in two sessions.
Session I runs from Tuesday, January 31, 2006
through Thursday, February 2, 2006. Session II
begins April 25, 2006 and ends April 27, 2006.
This course centers on learning how to quickly shift
one’s financial momentum from a negative condition
to a highly positive state. It stresses the
importance of beliefs about money, how to rise above
one’s debt issues and take maximum control of one’s
own money. The course also teaches how to
intelligently leverage equity for personal wealth
creation. The course also covers where and how to
invest in today’s world, as well as “investment”
pitfalls to avoid.
This course does not pitch any insurance, annuities,
estate planning or specific investments.
“In my experience, the majority of the Baby Boom
generation is nowhere near being financially ready
for retirement,” says Mr. Hover. “Even though they
are making more money than before, today’s Boomers
are more financially “strapped” than ever. Also, the
typical family between ages 45 and 54 has less than
$50,000 saved for retirement. Far short of the large
financial nest egg many experts see as necessary.”
