The Athletic program within The Division of Physical Education is
pleased to have the opportunity to start a Roadrunner Athletic Hall of Fame to
recognize the outstanding teams, student-athletes, coaches and individuals that
have helped to create a rich history of successful athletic programs for the
college.
As this is the first year of the Roadrunner Athletic Hall of Fame
we will be inducting our inaugural class of Roadrunners. This is going to be a
special event that will be highlighted by a induction ceremony dinner in late
Spring 2010.
Rio Hondo College is currently accepting nominations of
student-athletes, teams, and individuals with meritorious service to the
institution for its inaugural Roadrunner Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2010.
Individuals (Student-athletes, Athletic Coaches, Honorary, and
Meritorious) who are nominated must be at least 5 years removed from their
athletic career and made significant contributions and/or demonstrated athletic
success at Rio Hondo College. Success for the Roadrunners is established
through the institutional values and expectations as well as the athletic
guiding principles of Sportsmanship, Scholarship and Skill.
