Men's Golf
Rio Hondo College is a member of the Foothill Conference,
competing against College of the Desert, Mt. SJC, Victor Valley, and other top
schools throughout the state. Tournaments take the Rio Hondo team to quality
golf courses throughout the state such as Oak Valley, Glendora CC, The SCPGA
Courses at Oak Valley, Desert Princess, Rio Bravo, and Rio Hondo's home golf course,
Industry Hills Golf Course. Industry Hills is one of the top courses in the US
and is home to US Open qualifying and the LA Nissan Open qualifying.
New players should sign up for PE147 Fall 2007. Any interested player can contact coach Ron
Eastman at 562-463-7409.

Congratulations to Rio Hondo Golf Alumni GREG
PUGA on his winning the 2000 USGA Mid-Amateur Championship. Greg's
win earned him a spot in the 2001 MASTERS TOURNAMENT in Augusta Georgia.
Greg was a member of the Rio Hondo Golf Team in 1991& 92 and earned a golf
scholarship to Cal State Dominguez Hills.
