Women's basketball returned to the court
at Rio Hondo College in 1996 after a fourteen year absence.
The Roadrunners belong to the Foothill Conference. Rio Hondo
provides athletes with the opportunity to play intercollegiate
basketball and continue their education. The women's basketball
program takes great pride in providing the student/athlete
with the best of both world's, playing a strong schedule of
games and promoting an academic experience that will help
them transfer to a university. The women's program has been
very successful. They were Conference Champions in 1999, 2000, 2002
and 2006.
Rio Hondo College offers
over 95 degrees and certificates, classes that transfer to UC,
Cal State or Private Universities. We will prepare you for
success on and off the court.
