Drug Studies Program
 

The Division of Social Science, Humanities, and Philosophy is pleased to offer a Drug Studies Program at Rio Hondo College.  If you are interested in working with drug affected populations, this is the program for you!  We offer:

  • 17-unit Drug Education and Prevention Certificate of Achievement
  • 35-unit Drug Studies Certificate--includes the courses required for the above certificate of achievement, plus additional courses needed to complete the academic requirements of the Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor (C.A.T.C.)
  • AS Degree in Drug Studies  - includes the courses required for the 35-unit certificate in addition to courses needed to complete the academic requirements of the Associate in Science degree.
