Angela Garza
(2002-2003)
Angela Garza participated in the AmeriCorps Teacher
Preparation Program during
the 2002-2003 Program. What made Angela unique in
her desire to participate in
our program that focused on Reading Literacy is that
Angela is Deaf. Despite the
obvious disadvantages, Angela returned to Cresson
Elementary School where she
attended as a child and successfully completed our
program. The photo above
