The Professional Development Center is part of the California Virtual Campus, a 5-year project funded by the Chancellor's Office. It's emphasis is to increase the quality of online, hybrid, and web-enhanced courses.

@ONE is another project funded by the Chancellor's Office to increase staff development through the use of technology. It offers many free live and online workshops.
Welcome 4faculty.org is one of the most ambitious online staff development projects in the nation. Funded by grants from FIPSE and the Chancellor's Office, the project involves more than 40 colleges throughout California plus many other state systems. It features a customizable online staff development training program for faculty covering pedagogical and practical issues.
Beyond Bells and Whistles Jannette Finch and Elaine Montambeau from the College of Charleston's Department of Academic Computing have developed an outstanding guide to using technology in the classroom.
The New Media Consortium (NMC) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that brings forward-thinking learning organizations - colleges, universities, and museums - together with innovative high-tech companies to collaborate in a non-competitive environment. Founded in 1993, the NMC counts over 150 colleges, universities, museums, and corporations among its members.
