Individual & Small Group Grants

individuals or small groups in need of
support for conference attendance,
training, or other projects geared
toward enhancing their professional
skills.

Award $1500
Funding
Priorities: Applications which detail
how the project will also benefit and be
disseminated to the largest appropriate
campus audience. See application for
other required details.

Low cost Trainings & Conferences-
Interested
in a low cost workshop or training (i.e.
@One Institutes) but not the paperwork
of a traditional grant? Staff
Development has set aside $1000 for Fall
2007 to reimburse local
training/conference attendance.
Maximum
Award:
$200
Application Process: Submit
a signed travel requisition and a
brief statement describing how this
event will improve your professional
skills. If approved, fill out all
required paperwork for reimbursement
within 30 days of event participation.
CSEA
Educational Reimbursement Fund-Are
you aware that CSEA staff can get up to
$1000 each year to reimburse costs for
education and/or trainings? Priority is
given for education/training directly
related to current or projected job
duties, but if funds allow, it may be
possible to receive support for cultural
enrichment and/or other general
education courses. Be sure to seek
approval from your supervisor AND the
CSEA/Human Resources committee prior to
registration.
