Students who are interested in furthering their education thru study in a professional field such those listed below, can begin preparation via coursework at Rio Hondo College. Students should understand that the Pre-Professional Advising sheets are meant to be a guide and do not lead to an associates degree at Rio Hondo College.

Before applying to these programs, a student should attend a college or university and complete a Bachelor of Arts degree. Less than 10% of the recent admissions into medical school have not completed a Bachelor of Arts degree.
