Rio Hondo College Child Development Center/Lab School serves children 2.9 years of age to 5 years old.  The children must be toilet trained.  Families enrolled in our full day Child Development program must meet eligibility and need criteria as defined by the State of California.  Families enrolled in our State Preschool program must meet only eligibility criteria.  The Center provides quality child care for the children of Rio Hondo College student parents, staff and the community.  Parents can pursue their educational and professional goals with the knowledge that their children are being cared for in a caring, safe and stimulating environment.

Rio Hondo College Child Development Center/Lab School is open to any eligible family regardless of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, age, ancestry or handicapping condition, including such conditions as AIDS, HIV positive and cancer.
