Counselor Hours
Monday through Thursday  8:00 am - 8:00 pm
Friday  8:00 am - 4:00 pm
(Note:  Summer counseling hours may vary)

Online counseling services include basic educational and career planning, transcript evaluation and general education and transfer checks. Online counseling services is reserved for students who live too far from the campus to conveniently access services (remote students), for disabled students or for those students who have a compelling reason for not being able to come in person to see a counselor.

Online Counseling is not appropriate for:

Psychological counseling needs
If you are in need of this type of service please contact Psychological Services at (562) 692-0921 ext. 3811.

New students with no previous college coursework
If you are a new student please take the college assessment test first and make an appointment see a counselor in person or attend a group orientation session. Call (562) 692-0921 #3410 for an appointment or for group orientation times.

Students on probation or dismissal who need to be reinstated
Students on probation/dismissal should see a counselor in person to complete the required paperwork and to discuss educational goals.

Students in need of full Education Plans
If you need an Education Plan, make an in-person appointment to see a counselor. A comprehensive education plan requires a thorough discussion with a counselor about your education and career goals.
