| How are Articulation Agreements
Made? |
| |
| Articulation agreements are created as a
result of partnerships among Rio Hondo College (RHC) and local
high schools, adult schools and ROP programs. Together, faculty
from RHC and these institutions examine
course curriculum of their respective disciplines and determine
if courses are equivalent in content. A formal agreement is
written that identifies the equivalency among these courses.
These agreements are reviewed on a yearly basis and continually
maintained by the Tech Prep Program. Please refer to the Articulation
Agreement Form.

| HOW DO I GET INVOLVED AND GET STARTED? |
| |
| If you are considering articulating a course
with Rio Hondo and are not sure of where to begin, follow
the next steps:
1. Contact your counselors or career and technical education
instructors and research if an
Articulation Agreement already exists. If it does, check for
the last date the agreement was
reviewed. If it has been more than one year since the agreements
has been reviewed then follow
the next step.
2. Contact the Tech Prep Coordinator at (562) 692-0921, 3706
and coordinate a meeting to discuss
the possibility articulation.
3. Conduct a follow-up meeting with faculty and administrators
to create agreement.
