AUTOT 057 Automotive Specialized Electronic Training, 4 units of on line
and classroom participation. This course provides an overview of the
principle of automotive electronics. Topics covered include: electrical
theory, fundamentals of circuit construction, computers, and
semiconductors, microprocessors, integrated circuits (IC's), types of
output signals, wire repair techniques, meter usage and strategy based
diagnostics. General Motors circuit boards will be demonstrated as part
of the course. This course is designed for entry level technicians or
students who need an understanding of the basics of automotive
electronics. |
