What You'll Learn?
You will be taught by an ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified
instructor who specializes in the technologies found on American Honda
products. The curricula at Rio Hondo conforms to ASE's NATEF (National
Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) stringent guidelines. The
NATEF curriculum is included in courses specifically designed by American Honda
to give you hands-on experience with Honda's advanced technology and
products. While getting a PACT degree or certificate, you can intern at a
dealership to learn how a dealership works first hand.
With PACT, you can earn credits necessary for a college degree while learning
about the newest technologies in the field. When you complete the PACT
program, you'll be ready to start at a dealership with a demonstrated inventory
of Honda-specific skills.
Why Honda?
American Honda is dedicated to developing world-class
technicians who can provide the professional customer service necessary to
retain loyal Honda customers.
American Honda supplies participating schools with
state-of-the-art training materials
and curriculum. The schools
invest in the instructors who teach
the courses by sending them to
training at American Honda
facilities so that they can stay
abreast of the latest Honda-specific
technologies.
Honda has over 20 million cars
operating in the US, 20 different
vehicle models, and 1,281
dealerships that need technicians
like you. Sooner or later,
every vehicle needs to be
serviced...and the demand for
trained technicians will not end.
Now, our question is why shouldn't
you join Honda?
What We Do For You
The PACT
2-year Degree Program will give you
the education and experience to
start building your career to become
an elite automotive specialist.
You may have the opportunity to work
as a paid intern in a local
dealership. Some dealerships
will help further by paying a
portion of your tuition, resources
and by supplying you with
specialized tools to supplement your
own tool set.
The PACT Certificate Program gives
you specific Honda technical
knowledge in a fast-track
curriculum. In addition to
earning college credit towards a
degree, this program awards you a
certificate in American Honda
automotive technology that enhances
your credentials when applying for a
job as a Honda or Acura technician.
You Decide
You will go
above and beyond other automotive
students, giving you an advantage
when interviewing with a Honda or
Acura dealership.
Dealerships everywhere are looking
for technicians they can count on to
get the job done right the first
time. They are looking for
technicians who know current
information and current
technologies. They're looking
for a PACT graduate--They're looking
for you.
