Fun Stuff –
Student Involvement in Clubs
A.S.E.A
– American Society of
Engineers and Architects at Rio Hondo College is a student
chapter of the professional organization or chapter based in
South Pasadena. Students are involved with presentations and
visitations presented and hosted by professional Engineers
and Architects. The club meets bimonthly on campus and every
two month off campus at either a project site, presentation,
or another college. Each college chapter of ASEA hosts an
activity once a year inviting other college chapters to
participate. Rio Hondo College’s ASEA chapter each year in
December hosts the toothpick contest designing and building
bridges, towers, or planes. Off campus job site visitations
enable students to see current engineering or architectural
projects or visit an industry facility.
