Flint Tabata teaches Freehand
Sketching (DRAF 105), Architectural Design Studio (ARCH 235) and
Architectural Rendering and Perspective (ARCH 215). Mr.
Tabata spent three years at Woodbury University and received a
degree from Southern California Institute of Architecture
(SCI-ARC). His industry experience includes 12 years of
office experience working on various commercial projects such as
libraries, schools, offices, civic buildings and various
residential projects. Mr. Tabata's goal as an instructor
is to assist students in pursuing their academic and career
goals by providing training and development in architectural
design and areas such as drawing, drafting and presentation.
One of the aspects he focuses on in his classes is towards
helping students develop the skills necessary to help them
develop an impressive portfolio that will help them to transfer
to a school of architecture or find employment in their area of
interest.
