CAD NEWS
LPA Incorporated, an architectural
firm based in Irvine California, recently donated two server
enclosures to the CAD/GIS department. Valued at over $6000
apiece, these air-tight enclosures are equipped with their own
uninterruptible power supply and and air-conditioning and
air-filtration system. The enclosure will be put to good use in
our dusty model shop, and our sometimes stuffy "server room."
"The enclosures will be an invaluable asset to
the Rapid Prototyping program.", commented professor Gary Halvorson.
"We can now run computers in our model shop without fear of damage due
to dust and particulate matter."
We offer our sincere thanks to the professionals
at LPA, Incorporated.
