Social Work

The Associate of Arts degree in Social Work provides a foundation for students interested in the fields of social work, human services, counseling and related areas. The curriculum is designed to meet lower-division transfer courses for many CSU’s with majors in Social Work, Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work or Human Services. The degree also offers a basis for students interested in paraprofessional jobs in the human services field. To acquire the Associate of Arts degree in Social Work it is necessary to complete the graduation requirements of the college along with the following courses in the curriculum tab:
