Certificate of achievement

This Certificate of Achievement is designed for the student wishing to own their own business. Areas of emphasis will include management, marketing, and operations management for a small business. The student will gain a general core of knowledge about different types of small businesses: service businesses, international businesses, e-commerce businesses and business to business ventures through hand on projects.

Student Learning Outcomes (SLO)
  • Students should develop an effective business plan by using guerrilla marketing strategies and basic financial statements.
  • Students must be able to distinguish between the debt vs. equity finance options.
  • Students be able to explain the essential importance of cash flow planning for the small business operations.
  • Students are able to use breakeven analysis to evaluate marketing plan.
