Rio Hondo Dance Collective Audition

There are no planned auditions for the 2021-2022 academic year at this time.

Collective Performance/Touring group:  A time-intensive, one-year commitment, requiring professionalism, hard work, a collaborative attitude, technique class, choreography, rehearsal, production and performance.

The Nutcracker and Works in Progress Dance Concert Audition
There are no auditions for the 2020-2021 academic year.
There are no planned auditions for the 2021-2022 academic year at this time.

In concert years, the casting auditions for both The Nutcracker and Works in Progress Dance Concert happen simultaneously.  Dancers of all levels accepted for ensemble works including Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Hip-hop as well as other dance styles.

  • No prepared material needed.  The choreographers will teach across-the-floor and center work as well as dance combinations and improvisation.
  • Contemporary, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop material will be taught. Please wear dance clothes and bring socks and/or dance shoes (jazz shoes or dance half soles/thongs).

Evening of Dance Concert Audition
 
 

There are no auditions for the 2020-2021 academic year.
There are no planned auditions for the 2021-2022 academic year at this time.

Dancers of all levels are encouraged to audition for the spring show.

  • Placement audition for all dance genres.
  • No prepared material needed.  The choreographers will teach across-the-floor and center work as well as dance combinations and improvisation.
  • Contemporary, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop material will be taught. Please wear dance clothes and bring socks and/or dance shoes (jazz shoes or dance half soles/thongs).
