The Office of Student Success & Retention develops and enhances efforts to improve student learning in the core areas of reading, writing, English as a New Language (formerly known as ESL), math, and learning strategies. Mainly addressing basic skills, these efforts include providing academic enrichment programs, such as, Summer Bridge, Springboard, Gateway Tutoring, and Fast Track Learning Communities. Students who are interested in participating in one of our programs should click on the program link on the left menu for more information.
Funding support for these academic enrichment programs is provided by both the California Basic Skills Initiative and a Title V Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) grant.
