Rio Hondo College is located  near the intersection of the Pomona (60) and the 605 Freeways. Click here to get directions on Google Maps. Rio Hondo College has three satellite locations: the El Monte Education Center (EMEC), the South Whittier Education Center (SWEC), and the Santa Fe Springs Regional Training Center.

Driving Directions to the Main Campus

Coming from central Los Angeles:
Take the Pomona (60) Fwy east to the 605 south. Take the first exit, Peck Rd. east (left). Peck Rd. turns into Workman Mill Rd. Turn left onto the campus (College Drive). The Parking Information Booth is located on the left.

Coming from the Ontario area:
Take the Pomona (60) Fwy west to the 605 south. Take the first exit, Peck Rd. east (left). Peck Rd. turns into Workman Mill Rd. Turn left onto the campus (College Drive). The Parking Information Booth is located on the left.

Coming from the south:
Take the 5 or 405 Fwy north to the 605 Fwy north. Exit on Rose Hills Rd. east (right). Turn left on Workman Mill Rd. Turn right onto the campus (College Drive). The Parking Information Booth is located on the left.

Coming from the north:
Take the 10, 210 to the 605 south. Take the first exit past the Pomona (60) Fwy, Peck Rd., east (left). Peck Rd. turns into Workman Mill Rd. Turn left onto the campus (College Drive). The Parking Information Booth is located on the left.

Parking

Visitors on campus may obtain temporary parking permits at the Parking Information Booth located off College Drive to the left at Parking Lot 2 of the lower level parking stalls or a Day parking permit from one of the three dispensers on campus.

Student parking permits can be purchased online via AccessRIO.

Public Transportation

Rio Hondo partners with multiple bus lines through the GO RIO program. TAP card and discount transit information is available to full time Rio Hondo students.

Google Maps will provide public transportation information. You can also plan your route by using Metro.net. Express service on the Red Line 577 from Long Beach and Metro 270 stop at Rio Hondo.

Rio Hondo’s main campus has a TRAM service that runs Monday-Friday with four pickup and drop-off points.

Access Services is the Los Angeles County paratransit service for door-to-door transportation for qualified persons with a disability. Students must qualify for this service by contacting Access Services.
