Río Hondo College is fully accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC) of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). The College submitted its Institutional Self Evaluation Report in December, 2021. The ACCJC comprehensive site visit occurred March, 2022. The College has engaged in a process, collaborating with all of its stakeholder groups, to develop and produce the Follow Up Report in accordance with the commission action letter dated June 2022. As required, the report was presented to the Board of Trustees for approval in May 2023, in advance of submission to the Accrediting Commissions for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC). The follow up site visit will be on November 7, 2023.
