The Student Health Center offers a variety of medical and mental health services available to all students who pay the health fee. The Student Health Center is here to support you, your health, and your academic success. Services are available both online and in person.

Emergency Mental Health Services

If you are feeling suicidal or are experiencing a mental health emergency, please consult the following resources.

    • The 988 Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. The 988 Lifeline operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in the United States. The 988 Lifeline is committed to improving crisis services and advancing suicide prevention by empowering individuals, advancing professional best practices, and building awareness.

    • Crisis Text Line is here to support you through crisis. A live, trained Crisis Counselor responds to all texts from a live, secure online platform.

    • The CalHOPE warm line connects callers to people who have persevered through struggles with stress, anxiety, and depression — emotions triggered by circumstances and events in everyday life. The peer counselors listen with compassion, provide nonjudgmental support, and guide you to additional resources that can provide hope and help you cope.
  • Use Soluna.
    • Soluna is an app designed to assist in your mental health journey. It offers confidential support for 13- to 25-year-olds in California. There’s no cost and no pressure. Chat one-on-one with a professional coach, use interactive tools to destress, or explore quizzes, videos, forums, and more.
