Other Important Information
- Students must submit a new financial aid application (FAFSA or CADAA depending on which application they are eligible for) for each new academic year:
- Example: 2026-27 financial aid applications cover, Fall 2026, Spring 2027 and Summer 2027
- Deadlines for submitting outstanding financial aid tasks, including verification documents is two weeks prior to the end of the semester or two weeks prior to the end of the academic year for which the student is enrolled.
- Example: Student is enrolled in Fall 2026 and Spring 2027, student has until two weeks prior to the end of the Spring 2027 term to submit tasks.
- Deadline for all appeals, including SAP Appeals is always two weeks prior to the end of the term for which the student is enrolled and requesting aid to be reevaluated.
- All federal and state financial aid disbursements will be delivered to you via the refund preference you chose with BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution powered by BMTX Inc.
- All disbursement dates can be found on the Disbursement page. Other important dates can be found in the Financial Aid Calendar. We will update the dates throughout the school term.
- All California Promise Grant (formerly Board of Governor’s fee waiver) refund checks are processed through the Accounting Office and mailed to your address on record within 6-8 weeks. No refunds can be made once the semester has ended.
