Deadlines for the 2019-2020 Academic Year/2020-2021 Catalog
Curriculum items have to receive all required approvals by noon on Wednesday, November 6 in order to make the November 13th agenda to ensure inclusion in the 2020-2021 catalog. All courses due for revision in current academic year should be revised prior to this deadline. New courses that will need general education approval – and the requests for that approval – should be submitted prior to these deadlines. For potential inclusion in the 2020-2021 catalog, items must be agendized by March 4 (all required approvals received by noon on Wednesday, February 26).

Welcome to the Rio Hondo College Curriculum Committee website, a resource for faculty, staff and administrators. On this site you will find information on all committee actions, committee by-laws, the latest edition of forms required for any curriculum submissions and the background information needed to complete those forms.
The curriculum committee, as a committee of the Academic senate, reviews and recommends course and program additions, revisions, and deletions and recommends policy related to academic offerings to the Rio Hondo Community College District Board of Trustees.
Rio Hondo College faculty are charged by Title 5 of the California Code of Regulations with the primary responsibility for making recommendations in the areas of curriculum and academic standards.
