Our departmental goal is to enhance student success by assisting our college resources in the strategic pursuit of external funding opportunities that align with the RHC mission, values, and goals. We seek to support innovative and sustainable excellence in instructional and student support services, along with a firm commitment to fiscal accountability and programmatic compliance.
We are available to assist faculty and staff in developing and managing grants by: 1. Alerting college divisions and service areas to funding possibilities, cycles, and deadlines, 2. Assisting with research, development, and submission of proposals and; 3. Supporting the monitoring, reporting, and renewing of existing grants. To view our Grant Development process, Click Here
The first step is to submit an online Launch Pad.
The Launch Pad is the starting point for all new grants, renewal grants and sub-grant award opportunities. It’s purpose is to clearly document your program idea and ensure there is Departmental and Executive Leadership Approval of your submission. In order to maintain an efficient grant process this is to be submitted online before any effort is applied to write a proposal and/or submit a grant application on behalf of the college. Our department is a tremendous resource for proposal development and grant writing. Here are the benefits of this process:
- Support of Proposed Ideas
- Institutional Awareness
- Enhancement of Funding Potential
- Increased Effectiveness of Project Implementation
