Welcome to the Parking Services page at Rio Hondo College. We are dedicated to providing a safe and accessible parking experience for students, staff, and visitors. Our services include issuing parking permits, processing citation appeals, and providing visitor parking information.
Parking Permits and Fees
Parking on the RHC main campus is by parking permit only. All educational centers located off the main campus do not require a parking permit.
Fall 2023: Parking Permit Required
Parking enforcement will begin September 5, 2023.

A service fee for mailed orders and credit card convenience fee shall apply.
Day Permit & Visitor Parking
Temporary parking permits for visitors are available at the Parking Information Booth located off College Drive, to the left at Parking Lot 2 of the lower level parking stalls.
Day parking permit dispensers are available in the following locations:
- Parking Lot A, center of lot
- Parking Lot A, near the bridge
- Parking Lot 6, near the stairs
- Parking Lot E near entrance of building
- Parking Lot C corner of Central & 5 Minute Parking Zone
One (1) day parking permit fee is $3.00. The dispenser accepts one-dollar bills, credit cards, and coins (including dollar coins). The dispenser does not give change for bills or coins. A five-minute parking stall is located alongside the dispenser for temporary parking while you purchase your permit.
Parking Information Booth Hours:
Open 24/7, but permits are sold as early as 5:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday through Thursdays, and 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Parking Rules & Responsibilities
Persons operating vehicles on campus are expected to abide by all California vehicle codes as well as posted regulations. Citations will be issued by campus security officers for violations of such codes or failure to abide by college parking or vehicle regulations. Everyone is required to pay all fines in connection with such violations. Unpaid fines will be referred to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and a hold will be placed on your vehicle registration.
Persons using the parking facilities at the college do so at their own risk. The college assumes no liability for the use of parking facilities.
