| Science and Technology, and all other disciplines provide for
us the information and data that give us the greatest tools and toys in the
history of civilization. It is the philosophy that gives us our values
as to how we should use our science and arts in the greatest interest of
humanity. It is Philosophy that gives humans the respect of
knowledge to seek the secrets of the "starry skies above, and the moral law
within" Philosophy studies the great thinkers whose ideas have developed our
political and social institutions from Democracy to Marxism.
