What is PASS
The Student Support Services Program(SSS) is a PASS program funded by the U.S. Department of Education that works with first generation, low-income and/or disabled students by providing them with academic advisement, financial aid information, transfer information, tutoring, cultural and educational field trips in preparation for successful graduation and/or transfer to a four-year college or university.
The Student Support Services Program (SSS) mission is to provide college advisement and services in a compassionate, encouraging and supportive manner to a diverse group of Rio Hondo College students, such that all students will be aware of and eligible to transfer into a four year university.
As a result of participation in the RHC SSS Program:
- Students will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the IGETC transfer options
- Students will be able to navigate the college system
