Online Application/Registration Instructions

To apply/register online complete the following steps:

      New Students Only who apply for the upcoming session may use the interactive online application.

      Returning Students must use the mail in application option. 
               Choose the semester you wish to apply for.
               Fill out application completely
               After printing, make sure all questions are answered before mailing.

        When we receive the completed application, you will be readmitted to the college. To be eligible for
        priority registration we must receive your application by the priority application deadline.  After you
        have  been admitted you may register online according to your registration date.  If you miss your
        time to register, you may register anytime between the hours of 8:00 AM to 12:00 midnight Pacific
       Time while the online registration is available.

Read before you register:

  • If you are planning to apply for Financial Aid or a Board of Governors Grant make sure you have all of your paperwork in before you register.
  • Once you register for classes, program changes (adds or drops) cannot be processed until fees are paid.
  • All registration holds (dismissal probation, debts library fines, etc.)  must be cleared before you register.
  • Make sure that you have met the prerequisite for the class you want.  If you took the prerequisite at another school bring your transcripts to the Counseling Office so a counselor can clear you for that class.
  • If the class you want is closed, you need to get the instructor’s signature on an add slip and take it to the Admissions Office/Registration Window during on-campus registration.
  • If you want to register for 19 or more units you need a counselor’s signature.   Please call the Counseling Office at (562) 692-0921 extension 3410.
