Online Registration
Read before you register:
-
If you are not a continuing student, make
sure we have a current application on file. Returning students need to
reapply. Click
here to apply to Rio Hondo College.
-
Many students are eligible for some
type of financial aid so
make sure complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Contact the
Financial
Aid Office before you register for more information.
-
All registration holds (dismissal
probation, debts, library fines, etc.) must be cleared before you register.
-
Make sure that you have met the
prerequisite for the class you want.
If you took the prerequisite at another school bring your transcripts to the
Counseling Office so a counselor can clear you for that class.
-
If you want to register for 19 or more units you need a counselor’s
signature. Please call the Counseling Office at (562) 692-0921
extension 3410.
-
Once you register for classes you are obligated to pay your fees.
You
will not be billed for your fees. Please review the
Payment of Fees. If you do not pay for your classes by the
Drop for Payment
deadlines, your classes will be dropped.
After the semester begins:
- If you do not attend any classes after the semester
begins, do not assume you have been dropped from your classes. You
will be responsible for fees on all classes that you have not personally
dropped and may receive an "F" grade.
- Program changes (adds or drops) cannot be processed until
fees are paid. Refunds are automatic as long as you have dropped by
the refund deadline. Be aware of the critical dates for your courses.
