LEGACIE+ Summer Academy
Rio Hondo College is offering a LEGACIE+ summer academy focused on supporting traditional and non-traditional students who identify as Latino, other Men of Color (MOC), or those who self-identify as men. The summer academy is a four-day program and partnership with Cal Poly Pomona Male Success Initiative, whose mission is to support young men of color on their journey to college. Individuals 18 years and older and High School students are eligible to participate in the LEGACIE+ Summer Academy for free!
Apply HereThe Summer Academy is a four-day summer program. Participants will spend two days at the Rio Hondo campus and two at Cal Poly Pomona. The summer academy will cultivate collaborative and fun environment with interactive session on financial literacy, career development, demystifying higher education and exploring male identify. The summer camp will ignite curiosity, confidence, and imagination. Transportation to the Cal Poly Campus will be provided.

- Dates: Tue-Friday, July 23-26, 2024
- Times: 9am – 2pm
- Location: Rio Hondo College, 3600 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA
- Who: Anyone 18 years and older and High School students.
- Cost: Free! (lunch + transportation provided)
- Deadline to Apply: June 24, 2024 (Space is limited)
