Are you looking for help with your math and science courses? We have several options available to you.

Math Science Center

When difficulty arises with math or science, the MSC is the place where Rio Hondo college students can receive help from our peer tutors, staff, and instructors on duty. We are located in two areas: S103 and S300. In the MSC, we strive to guide students through their difficulties in math & science. Our goal is for students to become independent learners and no longer need a tutor. The MSC is free to registered Rio Hondo College students. For more information, click here.

Stats Success Center

If you enrolled in MATH 130 Statistics, you can come to the Stats Success Center in S300 and ask a math professor for assistance. The center’s schedule is published weekly and is available from your section’s instructor.

Supplemental Instruction

We are piloting a program that supports student success by meshing “what to learn” with “how to learn.” Supplemental Instruction (SI) has voluntary group study led by a peer leader. SI is a free service.
