Funding/Grant Opportunities

A limited amount of grants are available each year to support individual, department and/or division professional development projects.   Monies can be used for travel to conferences, on or off campus trainings, or other independently designed professional growth initiatives.  Not sure what can be funded?  Download the Grant Funding Guide F2022   for a more detailed look at funding criteria.

Grant applications may be submitted on a rolling basis and reviewed at a twice monthly meeting.*

Updated Funding Maximums

~Full time employees may apply for a maximum of $1000.00 in a fiscal year

~Groups/Departments can apply for up to $2400.00 in funding.  $2400.00 is also the maximum available to fund support for any one event with multiple attendees.

~Low cost grants cover requests up to $300

~Adjunct faculty may apply for a maximum of $300.00 per semester

Requesting a Grant Using Adobe Sign

You can request signatures for your grant using our campus license of Adobe Sign. Please use the following link for that tutorial. Please submit a help desk ticket if you need a license for Adobe Sign.

Submit a Grant Request Using Adobe Sign

Please follow up with your supervisor and the Vice-President’s office to ensure that all forms are signed and submitted to the staff development office by the grant deadline. If your project is taking place off campus and in person, be sure to submit a Travel Authorization with your application.

CSEA Educational Reimbursement Fund

Are you aware that CSEA staff can get up to $1,100 each year to reimburse costs for education and/or trainings? Priority is given for education/training directly related to current or projected job duties, but if funds allow, it may be possible to receive support for cultural enrichment and/or other general education courses. Be sure to seek approval from your supervisor AND the CSEA/Human Resources committee prior to registration. Funds are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
