Student Leadership Institute

The office of Student Life & Civic Engagement has retired The Student Leadership Institute (SLI) at Río Hondo College. For Fall 2027, we will open applications for a new leadership program.

The Emerging Leaders Track

The Emerging Leaders track graduated over 600 students and over 10 cohorts from 2015-2026. This program helped students be more self-aware, recognize their abilities in leadership and grow as leaders in their community. The program started as a collaboration with Cal State Fullerton and grew to amass more than 600 graduates of the program.
