Dear Río Hondo College Community,

The Banner system is currently unavailable due to an unexpected database server infrastructure issue. Our Information Technology Services team is actively working with our infrastructure partners to restore service as quickly as possible.

During this time, access to Banner, Self Service, and related systems may be intermittently unavailable. We will provide an update as soon as service is restored or if additional information becomes available.

Dear Río Hondo College Community,

The Main Campus has experienced a water break and electrical system compromise. At this time, on ground classes at the main campus are cancelled for the rest of the day – February 2, 2026. Online classes and classes at EMEC, Pico Rivera Educational Center, SWEC and the Santa Fe Springs Regional Training Center are not impacted and remain fully operational.

Classified staff and Administrators are to work remotely and be on standby for further updates.
